The core of the "Day Day Austronesian" project lies in reclaiming the power of cultural interpretation. Through the "Austronesian Guide" talent cultivation system, we identify and connect local youth and cultural practitioners across four major regions—Urban, Valley, Coast, and South Link—transforming them into the driving force for local development.
Emphasizing the spirit of "local co-creation," the project transcends traditional tourism development. By working alongside local teams to harvest tribal languages, crafts, and life contexts, we craft contemporary Austronesian travel itineraries with a modern perspective. Through systematic experience transfer and media outreach, we aim to build a resilient platform voiced by local people, ensuring that Austronesian culture is not a static attraction but a fluid, living aesthetic that continues to engage with the modern world.
Core Concept: Daily Austronesia
Drawing inspiration from the daily cultural landscapes of Taitung, the "Daily Austronesia" exhibition weaves the enduring legacy of Austronesian heritage into the fabric of contemporary life.
Through a curated selection of representative objects and stories from the Coastline, Downtown, South Link, and Rift Valley, the exhibition maps out a cultural journey that transcends spatial boundaries. In collaboration with the Taitung Art Museum’s themed restaurant, we demonstrate that "Austronesia" is not a remote or ancient term; rather, it is a living pulse embedded in our daily cuisine, craftsmanship, and profound connection to the land.
By merging visual and auditory immersion, this journey invites visitors to rediscover the Austronesian spirit, creating a powerful resonance that bridges tradition and the modern world.
