The opening concert of “Face Taitung” will unfold the story of Taitung’s 16 townships through 16 songs, 16 video pieces, and 16 faces, marking the grand opening of 2026 Taitung Expo. For generations, songs have been more than expressions of nostalgia. In the past, they carried the legends and memories of tribal communities. Today, they seek to transcend the boundaries of language and culture, sharing the sweet fruits cultivated by Taitung’s “slow economy.”

Through melody, rhythm, and stage imagery, the concert brings together the many facets of Taitung’s development, creating a musical celebration that reflects on the past while looking toward the future.

Blending symphonic music with rock, pop, and jazz, this concert brings together 16 Golden Melody Award-winning artists under the vast blue skies of eastern Taiwan. Through music, they reimagine Taitung as an ideal homeland—celebrating the land’s purity, grandeur, and cultural depth.
