The geographical shape of Taitung is like a "thumbs up" gesture, which, combined with the character "Xiong" from the founder's name, led to the establishment of Syong Zan Wood. Our brand philosophy is "Taitung Artisan Handmade," emphasizing the uniqueness and irreplaceable value of raw wood.

The logo design is inspired by bears and the natural landscape of Taitung, combining the bear symbol with the homophone of the studio's name "Syong Zan Wood"; the design of the handcrafted fountain pen serves as the bear's nose, the mountains as the bear's chin, and the ocean transforms into the bear's ears, forming a unique and memorable logo that conveys the philosophy of local design and production.

The "Bamboo Shape Pen" is inspired by the unique appearance, spirit, and character of bamboo. Through specialized turning techniques, raw wood is crafted into the shape of bamboo. The cap and body openings are cleverly designed to be hidden at the bamboo joints, making it difficult to immediately identify it as a wooden pen from the outside, highlighting its design texture.
