「Cemel」Whispers of the Wild Plants
Project Overview

“Cemel,” a term in the Paiwan language, can refer to grass, waste, or even medicinal plants.

Located in Tuban Village, Putung Enterprise invites local community members to co-design immersive experiential activities.

By exploring the Paiwan practice of plant naming and their knowledge of living in harmony with nature, participants are guided into the natural environment of “cemel,” where they rediscover familiar plants and learn to see the world from multiple perspectives.
