In this land where diverse ethnic groups and languages coexist, women’s voices have long been overshadowed by family and social roles.
Starting from the experiences of local women in Taitung, tienˊ gongˊ ngidˋ Cultural Studio uses Hakka as its primary language to reconnect everyday life with local memory through the mother tongue.
By integrating story-based workshops that emphasize co-creation and collaborative learning, mother-tongue learning activities, and podcasts and e-publications that reinterpret and compile collected materials, the project gradually builds women’s narratives in their native language.
In doing so, it brings personal histories into the public sphere—making them visible, audible, and understood.
