Movement and Return: Chenggong Terminal Memory Revival Project
Project Overview

The most beautiful scenery is not somewhere far away—it is the people who choose to return, carrying their experiences with them.

The Chenggong Bus Terminal was once a departure point for countless locals leaving home in pursuit of their dreams. It holds a shared memory while also reflecting the township’s long-standing issue of youth outmigration.

This project is not just about spatial revitalization, but a process of redefinition. It reimagines the rusted ticket booth as a place that once again issues “tickets home,” transforming the Chenggong Terminal from a weathered landmark into a new point of departure—one that nurtures the next generation.
