Chenggong Town is adjacent to the Pacific Kuroshio Current, which brought abundant migratory fish in the early years; among them, the produced skipjack tuna had low fat content, so the general public had low willingness to eat it; thus, following the techniques of Japanese masters for making dried bonito, the abundant skipjack tuna was made into bonito sticks that could be better preserved and used to simmer delicious dashi.

Although many fish species have appeared on the market to make dried bonito, such as mackerel, yellowfin tuna, and frigate tuna, our shop upholds the traditional spirit, using the highest grade fish species for making bonito flakes—Skipjack Tuna—plus no added salt and just the right longan wood smoky flavor; the unique on-site fresh shaving, with pink, sweet, and thick-shaved bonito flakes, forms the characteristic of our shop and is deeply loved by customers.

Our shop was established in 1985, upholding the belief of fresh, affordable, and high quality, providing many processed seafood products and developing many exclusive bonito-flavored snacks. On-site tasting is provided because we understand that buying food must suit one's own taste; because we considerately think of the customers, we have accumulated many old guests, and through word of mouth and mutual introductions, we also welcome many new guests!
