Xin yuan chang Black Tea Industry Cultural Center

Located in Luye, Taitung, the Xinyuanchang Black Tea Industry Cultural Center carries a memory of tea fragrance that spans eras. From the prosperity of the black tea industry to the continuation of today's characteristic Taiwanese tea culture, Xinyuanchang is not just a place for making tea, but a tea culture venue that allows people to step into history and taste the terroir.

With Luye's unique climate and soil as a foundation, Xinyuanchang insists on local cultivation and handmade tea processing, completely preserving the original flavor and aroma of the tea leaves. Whether it is the mellow and thick Black Tea or the Red Oolong with honey-scented layers, both demonstrate the unique personality and charm of Taitung tea.

The culture museum combines tea-making displays, guided tours, and tea-tasting spaces, so that everyone who visits can understand a story of the land starting from a single tea leaf. From picking and rolling to roasting, every step of the process is an accumulation of time and craftsmanship, and a persistence in quality.

Xinyuanchang believes that tea is not just a beverage, but a lifestyle—

Here, drinking tea is a daily routine with warmth and a sense of story.

▌ Ripe fruity red oolong

Selected Jinxuan tea leaves, processed with medium-heavy roasting to bring out charming toasted aromas and ripe fruit honey notes. Mellow and smooth upon entry with a lingering aftertaste; non-astringent, non-stimulating, and not bitter even after long steeping; safest to drink even on an empty stomach.

▌ Honey red oolong

Sweet honey fragrance offered by the small green leafhopper. The gentle-aftertaste Red Oolong is selected from tea leaves in Luye, Taitung; after natural saliva-feeding by small green leafhoppers, it brings out a unique natural honey scent. Then roasted through the Red Oolong process, the tea soup appears warm, mellow, sweet, and not bitter or astringent. Upon entry, it is the honey-fruit aroma brought by natural fermentation, with a long-lasting, smooth, and sweet aftertaste.

▌ Red Oolong Three-dimensional Tea Bag

Selected Red Oolong with ripe fruit aroma made into 3g three-dimensional tea bags. Whether hot brewed or cold brewed, you can drink that "smooth and sweet" comfortable feeling.

▌ Red Oolong Tea Popcorn

Strictly selected roasted-aroma Red Oolong; a combination of rich Red Oolong tea powder and popcorn. Warm texture with long-lasting tea fragrance. Using air-popping technology, similar to an air fryer, it differs from general oil-popped popcorn; there are no unpopped kernels, resulting in popcorn with a fluffy texture and round shape.

▌ Red Oolong Tea Dried Beans

Inheriting the chewy craft of handmade dried tofu, infused with our Red Oolong and slow-cooked; the tea fragrance is deep but not overpowering, becoming more fragrant and flavorful the more you chew.

▌ Red oolong tea cookie

Selected roasted-aroma Red Oolong, low-temperature ground to a fine 1000-mesh, perfectly blending the tea's aroma with the square cookies. Slightly sweet upon entry, leaving fragrance between the teeth.

▌ Red oolong tea suncake

Strictly selected 1000-mesh fine Red Oolong tea powder blended into the filling; there is no grainy feeling, but rather a natural melting into the cookie. When bitten, the crisp fragrance of the crust comes first, followed by the gradual emergence of Red Oolong tea aroma.

▌ Red oolong tea liqueur

Luye Red Oolong inherently possesses charming ripe fruit aromas and a mellow tea charm.

We brew this tea fragrance into alcohol, slowly maturing it into a Red Oolong tea liqueur. The 15% alcohol content makes the body warm and smooth,

yet still retains rich layers of tea fragrance.

▌ Red oolong tea plum wine

Xinyuanchang Red Oolong and matured plums are entrusted to time to slowly brew into wine. The entry is the warm tea fragrance of Red Oolong, followed by the crisp acidic fruit notes of the plum; not pungent, not greasy, melting smoothly in the mouth. Alcohol content 12%—just the right amount of tipsiness, just the right amount of relaxation. This is not simple plum wine, but a flavor completed by tea and plum together.
